The 2020 growing season saw late rain fall the winter before, encouraging nutrient-rich soil to help foster the blooming of leafy canopies, which in turn provided protection for the fruit when a heat spike struck ahead of harvest later in the year. Both of these wines see notes of lemon playing on the palate – a refreshing lemon-lime essence mixes with honeydew delighting the senses on the Sauvignon Blanc, and rich notes of Meyer lemon combine with honeysuckle and white peach on the Blancaneaux.
